If you are the only person using that copy of Open Fitness, or if it's only for personal use (yourself or your family), one license allows you to install on all of your computers. If you are using Open Fitness in a commercial or public setting where more than one person will use the installation (a fitness center or school, for instance), you'll need to purchase one license per computer or a site license.

Can I add new exercises, or am I stuck with whatever exercises Open Fitness came with?
You can easily add new exercises to Open Fitness. If you are in Cardio Journal, just click the New Exercise button as you're adding a workout. If you are in Weightlifting Journal, click the New... button on the Sets/Reps window as you're selecting an exercise. Initially, the new exercise may appear at the bottom of the exercise list. Next time you need to choose the exercise, it should be sorted appropriately in the list.

Why do the charts show the wrong weight amounts for resistance exercises?
By default, Open Fitness displays charts based on Estimated One-Rep Max, which allows you to see strength gains if you use the same amount of weight, but more reps. You can change Open Fitness to chart actual weight amounts using the Options menu in Progress Journal.

How do I backup all of my Open Fitness information?
  1. Run Open Fitness and choose "Backup Database" from the "Tools" menu.
  2. A backup file (some_file_name.ptw) will be created in whatever directory you choose.
